Will I Always have to Pay Mortgage Insurance Premiums?

For an FHA loan, your mortgage insurance requirement remains through the life of your loan if you put down less than 10% of the purchase price as a down payment. If you are able to put down 10% or more, your mortgage insurance requirement will go away once you reach a certain amount of time. These terms will be specified in your loan agreement.
